More than half (53%) of people with MS in the UK feel their mental health needs are not met by health professionals. For MS Awareness Week, we turned that new research into a story for the MS Trust: 72% had felt anxious or depressed for more than several days a month, and 47% did not know these can be symptoms of MS. We put the charity's chief executive on air across a radio day of interviews to raise awareness of the link. The broadcast PR campaign secured 68 items of radio coverage reaching 5.9 million listeners, including Sky News Radio and Radio News Hub.

More campaigns for MS Trust
MS Trust has come back to Relations Group for other broadcast PR campaigns:
MS Awareness Week is run in the UK by the MS Society together with the MS Trust, MS-UK, Shift.ms and other MS charities. It aims to improve understanding of multiple sclerosis and to challenge assumptions about living with it. It usually takes place in late April. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
