Case study · World Health Week

King's Fertility

Delays to IVF treatment during lockdown were estimated to cut the live birth rate after IVF by 0.5%, just as certain clinics across the UK were authorised to resume treatment. For World Health Week, we built King's Fertility's broadcast PR campaign around that news, and put a fertility expert from King's Fertility on air across a radio day of interviews to explain what it meant for people waiting for treatment. The campaign secured 10 items of radio coverage reaching 2.1 million listeners, including Radio News Hub and BBC Radio Leeds.

About World Health Week

World Health Week is a week created by Relations Group for UK health, wellbeing and medical brands to share advice on radio, from nutrition and sleep to fertility and dental care. It is separate from the World Health Organization's World Health Day on 7 April. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
