Youth Revisited

Prostate cancer is set to become the UK's most common cancer, and 1 in 8 men, rising to 1 in 4 Black men, will be diagnosed. NHS screening is limited to over-50s on request, so for Movember, Youth Revisited offered free PSA blood tests to men over 40 throughout November. We built a broadcast PR campaign around the offer and put a clinical adviser from Youth Revisited on air across a radio day of interviews, alongside a prostate health case study supported by the company, with a clear message: early detection saves lives. The campaign secured 5 items of radio coverage reaching 971,000 listeners, including BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio Bristol.

About Movember

Movember runs through November, when participants grow a moustache, exercise or hold events to raise money for men's health. It began in Melbourne, Australia, in the early 2000s and now funds work on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. It gives producers a reason to cover the subject, and brands with a credible spokesperson a way onto radio and TV.
