Case study · World Hearing Day

Loop Earplugs

For almost six million people in the UK, everyday noise can be hard to live with. Ahead of World Hearing Day, we turned new research into hyperacusis, or noise sensitivity, into a story for Loop Earplugs: 90% of those with it said it has a notable impact on their lives, with children crying and household appliances the most common triggers. We put the co-founders of Loop Earplugs on air across a radio day of interviews, plus TV, talking about hearing protection and hearing health. The broadcast PR campaign secured 10 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 3.0 million, including London Live, Sky News Radio and Radio News Hub.
