A UK summer staycation can offer far more activity than many holidaymakers expect. For summer, Hoseasons wanted its Go Active collection to become part of that picture, so we built a broadcast PR campaign around the activity-based leisure on offer for all ages, including the activities holidaymakers may overlook. We brought in Olympic archers to talk about their achievements and those activities, and booked them into a day of radio and TV interviews. The campaign delivered 17 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 5.2 million people, including ITV Yorkshire, ITV London News, ITV Tyne Tees and Radio News Hub.

About Summer
Summer is a major broadcast moment built around the school summer holidays, days out, travel, hot weather and outdoor living. In England and Wales schools usually break up in late July, while in Scotland and Northern Ireland they break up in late June. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
