Case study · World Hearing Day

Flare Audio

Noise does more than damage our hearing: it makes us stressed. Around World Hearing Day, we built Flare Audio's broadcast PR campaign on that idea, pointing to the around six million people in the UK with hyperacusis, for whom everyday sounds are intrusively loud, and to World Health Organisation research linking unpleasant noise to raised stress and a range of health problems. We put Flare Audio's co-founder on air across a radio day of interviews, explaining the company's mission to improve, protect and enhance our hearing experiences. The campaign secured 10 items of radio coverage reaching 2.0 million, including Sky News Radio.
