Something as simple as a printed sign can help people living with dementia: a survey found 90% of people working with those living with dementia think printers help them live well, and 98% agreed printed signs reduce confusion. At Christmas, we helped Epson share its partnership with Alzheimer's Society, supporting the charity through its EcoTank range and raising funds for people with dementia. We put a head of knowledge from Alzheimer's Society and a communications manager from Epson UK on air across a radio day of interviews, explaining how printed signs, calendars and photographs can help. The broadcast PR campaign secured 23 items of radio coverage reaching 3.5 million listeners, including Radio News Hub, BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Norfolk and BBC Radio Three Counties.
Epson wanted to raise awareness of its Christmas support for the Alzheimer's Society and the role of print for people with dementia.

About Christmas
Christmas Day falls on 25 December and marks the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus. It is a bank holiday across the UK and the peak of the year for retail, food and family stories. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
