Case study · Christmas

Dating for Parents

Christmas can be a hard time to be on your own as a single parent, and 24 December can be the hardest day of all. For Dating for Parents, the UK's number one dating community for single parents, we built a broadcast PR campaign around tips and advice on getting through Christmas alone. We put their spokesperson on air across a radio day of interviews, positioning the site as a safe and secure place for single parents to look for someone special. The campaign secured 51 items of radio coverage reaching 5.0 million people, including BBC Radio Humberside, BBC Radio Cumbria and BBC Radio Berkshire.

About Christmas

Christmas Day falls on 25 December and marks the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus. It is a bank holiday across the UK and the peak of the year for retail, food and family stories. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
