Case study · National Cholesterol Month

Two Chicks

A third (33%) of Brits do not believe eggs are healthy, and fewer than a third (32%) know the yolk is the fattiest part. For National Cholesterol Month, we turned that new research from Two Chicks into a story about egg whites, which are fat and cholesterol free, yet 28% of people would never eat just the white. We put two representatives of Two Chicks on air across a radio day of interviews to set the record straight. The broadcast PR campaign secured 16 items of radio coverage reaching 2.6 million listeners, including Radio News Hub.

About National Cholesterol Month

National Cholesterol Month is held every October and led by HEART UK, the cholesterol charity. It raises awareness that about six in ten UK adults have raised cholesterol, often without knowing, and promotes testing and heart-healthy habits. It gives producers a reason to cover the subject, and brands with a credible spokesperson a way onto radio and TV.
