An annual UK awareness week in May about epilepsy, which affects around 1 in 100 people. It is used to challenge misconceptions, explain what to do when someone has a seizure and raise money. In 2026 it ran from 18 to 24 May and was promoted by the Epilepsy Research Institute UK. It gives producers a reason to cover the subject, and brands with a credible spokesperson a way onto radio and TV.
