The UK got through 1.8 billion bottles of wine in a year and, for the first time, spent more on wine than France, yet there is plenty of confusion over which grape or vintage suits Christmas lunch. For The Wine Society, we built a festive broadcast PR campaign around how to avoid buying the wrong bottle and enjoy wine at Christmas without breaking the bank. A wine expert from The Wine Society joined a radio day of interviews, explaining how the member-owned society introduces people to the best of the world's vineyards at a fair price, with delivery across the UK. The campaign secured 21 items of radio coverage reaching 6.1 million, including talkSPORT, BBC Radio Devon and BBC Radio Stoke.
