Many people lack the confidence or knowledge to act in a cardiac emergency, and that can drastically reduce someone's chance of survival. We worked with Resuscitation Council UK to raise awareness of its CPQR campaign, showing just how simple and effective hands-on CPR can be. Through radio and TV interviews, we made the case that quick action from bystanders can help save lives, and that everyone has the power to make a difference in an emergency. The broadcast PR campaign secured 24 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 7.7 million, including GB News, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and BBC Radio Cumbria.
