Fitness should be for everyone, yet 85% of menopausal women feel excluded from the world of fitness. Places Leisure launched its Move Through Menopause programme to change that, with expert-led, evidence-based fitness and wellbeing advice, and we built a broadcast PR campaign to make sure it reached the women who needed it most. Expert voices and case studies went on air in radio interviews, putting the programme's impact at the centre of the story. The campaign secured 9 items of radio coverage reaching 2.3 million, including Greatest Hits Radio, BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester.

Move Through Menopause
The aim
Places Leisure launched their Move Through Menopause programme to support women navigating menopause with expert-led, evidence-based fitness and wellbeing advice. The course tackles a widespread issue: 85% of menopausal women feel excluded from the world of fitness, and many face barriers to staying active. To help raise awareness and ensure the programme reached the audiences who needed it most, we created a media strategy that spotlighted the initiative’s impact. Through compelling messaging, expert voices, and case studies, we secured high-profile media coverage that positioned Places Leisure as a leader in inclusive community health.
The result
9 items of coverage reaching 2.3 million, including Greatest Hits Radio, BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester.
