Spring is a good time for a sleep reset, and Brits needed one. Working with Nytol's PR agency, we turned Nytol research into a story ahead of the clocks going forward: a third of Brits feel tired most or all of the time, with stress (53%) and poor sleep (49%) the leading causes, but half say they have more energy in spring. We put a spokesperson from the charity Mental Health UK on air across a radio day of interviews, talking about the link between sleep and mental health. The broadcast PR campaign secured 19 items of radio coverage reaching 3.6 million, including Sky News Radio, BBC Radio WM, BBC Radio Essex and BBC Radio Cornwall.

About Clocks Go Forward
British Summer Time begins at 1am on the last Sunday of March, when the clocks go forward one hour. It brings lighter evenings and an hour less sleep that night, and is a regular hook for stories about sleep, health and road safety. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
