The Big Garden Birdwatch is a chance for anyone to discover the joys of watching birds, and Leica wanted to bring more people into it. We built Leica's broadcast PR campaign around the event, boosting nationwide awareness while telling the story of its durable, high-quality optics, built to last generations, and its support for NGOs working to protect bird habitats. Their spokesperson went on air in radio and TV interviews. The campaign secured 15 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 2.1 million people, including London Live, BBC Radio Newcastle, BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey and BBC Radio Merseyside.
