Case study · Inclusive Schools Week

Inclusive Schools Network

Every child, including those with visible and non-visible disabilities, deserves an individualised, high-quality education. For Inclusive Schools Week, we built Inclusive Schools Network's broadcast PR campaign around a clear call: the government should reinvest the £1.5bn expected from VAT on private school fees into state education. We put the founder of global inclusivity organisation Stetson & Associates, which runs the network, on air across a radio day of interviews, inspiring schools and educators to take part in the week. The campaign secured 11 items of radio coverage reaching 3.5 million and including Sky News Radio.

About Inclusive Schools Week

Inclusive Schools Week began in the United States in 2001 and is sponsored by the Inclusive Schools Network and Stetson and Associates. It celebrates the progress schools have made in educating a diverse range of pupils, including those with disabilities, and looks at what more can be done. It gives producers a reason to cover the subject, and brands with a credible spokesperson a way onto radio and TV.
