Veterans leave the forces with a wealth of transferable skills, yet many still run into misconceptions and barriers when they look for civilian work. To coincide with Armed Forces Day, we helped Ex-Mil put that problem in front of employers across national media. We combined expert commentary with veterans' own lived experience, making the case for the skills, discipline and resilience ex-military candidates bring to civilian roles, and positioning Ex-Mil as the leading voice on veteran employment. The broadcast PR campaign secured 12 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 3.7 million, including ITV North West, GB News and BBC Radio Essex.
