Case study · Endometriosis Month

Daye

Endometriosis affects up to 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, yet it takes 8 to 12 years on average to diagnose. For Endometriosis Awareness Month, we built Daye's broadcast PR campaign around the gender pain gap, using new survey data showing patients taking more than the prescribed dose of painkillers because standard pain relief is not enough. We put Daye's founder and chief executive on air across a radio day of interviews, plus TV, arguing that women's pain has been overlooked for decades and that faster diagnosis and better pain management are overdue. The campaign secured 12 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 5.9 million people, including GB News, GB News Radio, BBC Radio Three Counties and Magic London.
