Clinell

Clinell wanted coverage across the whole of the UK, and International Infection Prevention Week gave it the moment. We built a broadcast PR campaign around the week and put a Clinell spokesperson on air across a radio day of interviews, taking the brand to national news and to local stations from Cornwall to Aberdeen. The campaign secured 14 items of radio coverage reaching 2.7 million listeners, including Sky News Radio, BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey, BBC Radio Cornwall and Northsound 1.

About International Infection Prevention Week

International Infection Prevention Week is an annual observance in October, coordinated by the US body APIC, to raise awareness of infection prevention among healthcare staff and the public. It began in the United States in 1986 and is marked in the UK and elsewhere, where hospitals, charities and suppliers run their own activity under the name Infection Prevention Week. It gives producers a reason to cover the subject, and brands with a credible spokesperson a way onto radio and TV.
