Almost half of people in England (49%) are struggling or falling behind on bills, and 27% could not pay an unexpected £300 bill. For National Financial Awareness Day, we helped The Money and Pensions Service turn its new MoneyView figures into regional stories, showing that these struggles are even more common in Wales and Northern Ireland. We put regional managers from the service on air across a radio day of interviews, reassuring anyone under pressure that they are not alone and signposting free, impartial guidance from MoneyHelper. The broadcast PR campaign secured 15 items of radio coverage reaching 2.1 million listeners, including Greatest Hits Radio South Coast, Hits Radio South Wales and Greatest Hits Radio Kent.
