Case study · Know Your Numbers Week

Kinetik Wellbeing

Around a third of people in the UK have high blood pressure, and 5.5 million adults in England do not know they have it. For Know Your Numbers Week, we built Kinetik Wellbeing's broadcast PR campaign around that hidden risk, as the brand and Blood Pressure UK launched the free My Blood Pressure companion and offered free checks in Leeds, Manchester and Dartford. We put a doctor from the charity Blood Pressure UK on air across a radio day of interviews, plus TV, explaining why high blood pressure sits behind half of all strokes and heart attacks. The campaign secured 10 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 1.9 million people, including London Live, BBC Radio WM and BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire.
