Case study

My Ova

PCOS affects around 3.5 million women in the UK, yet it often goes undiagnosed until fertility problems appear. For My Ova, we ran a targeted broadcast PR campaign to change that, securing interviews and expert commentary that explained the condition and its symptoms to the public and to healthcare professionals. We also promoted a petition calling for PCOS education in the national curriculum, to support earlier diagnosis and better understanding. The campaign secured 14 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 4.4 million people, including Sky TV, BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio Three Counties.
