Case study · World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day

White Lotus Transformational & Recovery Coaching

Narcissistic abuse leaves no physical marks, and though it is frighteningly common in romantic, family, friendship and workplace relationships, it remains little known and often misunderstood. For World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day, we built a broadcast PR campaign to help White Lotus Transformational & Recovery Coaching educate the public and offer hope to survivors. We put the founder, an award-winning trauma recovery coach, clinical hypnotherapist and survivor of narcissistic abuse, on air in radio and TV interviews, explaining how gaslighting and manipulation make victims doubt their own reality, and how survivors can recover with the right support. The campaign secured 7 items of radio and TV coverage reaching 1.5 million, including London Live and BBC Radio Shropshire.

About World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day

World Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Day falls on 1 June. It was started in 2016 by a US psychotherapist to raise public awareness of narcissistic abuse, a form of emotional and psychological abuse, and to support people recovering from it. For brands and charities with something useful to say, it gives radio and TV producers a timely reason to book an interview.
